Closing Out the year with Gratitude
As we wrap up another year of partnering with mission-driven organizations, we’re reminded of something simple but important: the work you do matters, and the people behind your mission matter just as much. Thank you for trusting us to support your teams, your leaders, and your most important people decisions this year.
We know this season can be both reflective and full. It’s our hope you’re able to find a moment to breathe, recharge, and step into the new year with clarity and steadiness.
Leadership Update
In case you missed the news, Lora is on special assignment with Cleveland Metropolitan Schools while they manage a major transition. She’ll be focused there until late Spring, and in the meantime Sarah Braver has stepped in as interim CEO!
Sarah has been a steady force in shaping coLeague’s work and strengthening our partnerships over the years. Her commitment to supporting mission-driven leaders, building strong people systems, and helping organizations focus on what matters most makes this transition a natural and exciting step.
We’re grateful for Lora’s continued guidance behind the scenes and confident in the clarity, care, and direction Sarah will bring as she leads coLeague into the new year.
Highlights from 2025
A few moments from the year that reflect how we’ve supported leaders, teams, and mission-driven work.
This year, coLeague:
Worked with 15 clients on 21 projects! It was a strong mix of long-time clients and new-to-us mission-driven organizations.
Hosted a summer learning series on the Employee Hierarchy of Needs framework. If you missed it, you can check it out here.
People Trends we Predict in 2026:
We expect more organizations to take advantage of the “bite-sized” support with services like coLeague OnCall. Increasing capacity without increasing staff is always a good idea.
We predict an uptick in organizations that need support with Employee Relations (watch this space for how coLeague plans to meet this need!), such as case management and investigations.
New investment in equity-centric practices: after the confusion of the hits earlier this year to DEI work everywhere, we think organizations will be ready to ensure all people are supported through the entire employee lifecycle.
Teacher recruitment is harder than ever, and we expect to see school districts and charter networks seeing support on hiring great teachers to support their kids.
Thank You for your Partnership
Thank you for the trust, conversation, and collaboration you’ve shared with us this year.
As you look ahead to the new year, we hope you find moments of clarity; clarity about what your people need, what your teams are ready for, and what’s possible when expectations are aligned and leadership is sustainable. Whether you’re strengthening the foundation or refining the systems that support growth, coLeague is here to partner with you in the work.
